Description

分佈於印度、越南以及馬來西亞等熱帶國家,白胡椒通常使用成熟的胡椒漿果製作,從胡椒樹採收經過機器篩選過濾,接著放入布袋或編織網中浸泡水中八到十天,讓胡椒漿果外皮發酵軟化,通過洗選後內部種子和軟化外皮會被分離出,內部的種子在經過乾燥後就成為白胡椒的成品。因為是使用完全成熟的胡椒果實製作,再加上有經過水中浸泡發酵的過程,讓白胡椒具有較多元不同層次的風味。
